Neighbourhood: Saburtalo, Tbilisi

A centrally located district of Tbilisi, covering among others the Vashlijvari, Dighomi and Lisi neighbourhoods. The second metro line runs through it: five of its seven stations lie within the district, and two of them — Technical University and Medical University — are named after the nearby universities. The western end of the line, State University station, opened in 2017, serves the university campus.
